SixSides Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SixSides website, platform, and any services we provide ("Services"), operated by SixSides Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").
By accepting a quote, paying an invoice, or using our Services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
1. Purpose of the Services
SixSides is a community-building platform that supports engagement across the entire event journey. Our Services are designed to connect businesses/associations, event organisers, attendees, speakers, and sponsors before, during, and after events.
2. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
3. Client engagement & payment terms
- Payment terms are defined in your accepted quote or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, 100% is due upfront.
- Late payments may incur a 2% monthly interest charge.
- Work may be paused or cancelled if payment terms are not met.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- By accepting a quote or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and current information during registration or when submitting content.
- Use the platform lawfully and without infringing on the rights of others.
- Refrain from uploading harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.
- Abide by all event-specific guidelines if participating in an event hosted on the platform.
5. User content & data handling
- You retain ownership of content you upload, such as photos or messages.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your content for platform functionality, attendee experience, and marketing.
- Photos or content you are tagged in may appear in post-event media.
- Sponsors or speakers may be provided data only where attendee interest has been clearly expressed.
- All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Intellectual property
- We retain ownership of our software, design, branding, and all platform IP.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use our Services for the duration of your event or engagement.
- You may not reverse-engineer, duplicate, or distribute our platform or content without our written permission.
7. Community standards
We are committed to maintaining safe, inclusive, and respectful spaces. Harassment, hate speech, spamming, or abuse may result in removal from the platform. We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that violates these standards.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality around non-public information shared during the engagement. This includes strategy, attendee data, pricing, and other sensitive materials.
9. Third party tools & services
SixSides may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those providers. Use of any third-party services is at your own risk.
10. Cancellations & refunds
If a service is cancelled by you after work has begun, you agree to pay for the portion of work completed. If SixSides cancels (except due to your breach), we will refund any unused portion of your payment.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or disruption to events. Our total liability under this agreement is capped at the total fees paid by you.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using our Services at any time. Termination does not affect obligations already incurred.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the platform. Continued use of our Services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
