1. Overview

  • At SixSides, we value your privacy and are committed to giving you control over your data.
  • This Deletion Policy outlines how users can request the removal of their data from our platform.
  • It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

2. User-Initiated Deletion

  • You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
  • Requests must be sent via email to support@sixsides.co or submitted through in-app settings if available.
  • We may verify your identity before proceeding with deletion to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised access.

3. What Will Be Deleted

  • Personal information you provided during account creation and profile setup.
  • Photos, videos, and other media you uploaded or were tagged in (upon request).
  • Event participation data, including check-ins, networking actions, and gamification points.
  • Any associated interest flags or sponsor interaction data tied to your profile.

4. What May Be Retained

  • Aggregated, anonymised data that does not identify you personally may be retained for analytical purposes.
  • Backup data may be retained for a limited time as part of our standard data recovery protocols.
  • Where legally required (e.g., financial or compliance obligations), some records may be retained.

5. Deletion Timeline

  • We aim to process all verified deletion requests within 14 business days.
  • You will be notified once deletion is completed or if any data cannot be removed for legal reasons.

6. Data Belonging to Organisers or Sponsors

  • Event organisers and sponsors may receive engagement data during events; however, they are contractually prohibited from storing or using this data beyond the event unless separately agreed with the user.
  • Upon account deletion, SixSides will notify relevant parties to remove any user-associated records where applicable.
